From the page: "Call me nuts, but I have a thought. This may be really grasping at straws, but hang with me a minute and hear me out. Why donâ€t we just pay attention to what our children are playing? Better yet, why donâ€t we also pay attention to how much theyâ€re playing? Hereâ€s a novel thought…take responsibility for your own parenting skills. Duh!"

From the page: "Julio Diaz has a daily routine. Every night, the 31-year-old social worker ends his hour-long subway commute to the Bronx one stop early, just so he can eat at his favorite diner.

But one night last month, as Diaz stepped off the No. 6 train and onto a nearly empty platform, his evening took an unexpected turn."

I'd like to give this guy a hug.

Well here we are on Spring break and there is still so much fecking snow on the ground. I'm losing my sense of humor about it. Lack of sunshine has dragged us all down. We go through our days hoping for signs of warming weather... birds chirping, robins returning, crocuses and snow drops popping out of the snow-covered ground... no daffodils yet... :::sigh:::
This year's current snow total... 116+ inches. But we still have April and May to get through. 3 years ago and last year we got over 25" in April and a few years back we even got 3" of snow in May.
Send warm Spring thoughts please! :o)
